POKEYMANZ BATTLE TIEMZ

Contest entry for [link] Not all that great--I took out most of the fancy bits cuz it got too cluttered. Tried to go with pokes that weren't quite so popular--every other trainer in the contest has a Meganium and a Houndoom, which completely sucks since they are two of my faves.

ANYWAY, THE DETAILS:

Darcie Baines, age 19, hails from Azalea, Jhoto. She has no fashion sense to speak of, and looks rather plain (and younger than she is, which really annoys her.) She doesn't fuss much over her appearance, save for one thing: her hips. Darcie has been blessed with far too much junk in her trunk and not enough lady lumps to balance it out (which is why she avoids tight pants--trace her outline and you'll see what I mean). Generally mellow and yeah-whatever, she is known to spontaneously erupt into rants about vending machines, conspiracy theories ("They're all true, I swear!"), and general human stupidity.

As a trainer, she is quite a force to be reckoned with; she battles recklessly and unconventionally, often changing strategies on the fly to keep opponents on their toes, and bonds tightly with her team. However, she couldn't catch a Magikarp with a master ball. Thus, most of her Pokémon are obtained in trades with her friends or raised from eggs.

ACCESSORIES: Her Poké Gear is ancient and out-of-date, but she refuses to replace it, convinced that the new ones are installed with sinister tracking devices that "record your every move, dude!" She wears a pouch around her hips filled with berries (because, you know, organic is the way to go--she heals her whole part with just berries) and a junky old bracelet and black ribbon on her right wrist. She pins the Hive badge to her hat in homage to her hometown, and the Slowpoke keychain serves a similar purpose (even though she can't stand the little pink buggers). Also, for some odd reason, she collects different Poké-Balls and Apricorns... even though she hasn't caught anything in over a month... NOT PICTURED: Revives and Hyper Potions (after all, berries can't fix EVERYTHING).

HAIR STYLE: "Style? You think I made it look like this on PURPOSE?!"

-Notes: Borrowed from Darcie's friend and rival, Silas, Rush is full of energy but afraid of his own shadow.

-Notes: Despite his namesake, Cujo is a total cupcake. However, he likes to play rough, and often scares or injures people on accident.
