No offense to Stephanie Meyers or to Twilight fans, but the idea of a dark, predatory, gothic-horror staple GLITTERING in the sunlight? Dracula doesn't glitter, sparkle, glisten, shine, or even reflect sunlight to a high degree. No, he stays inside during the daylight hours because, being undead, he has very sensitive skin and avoids those harmful UV rays. And holy water. Nothing scathes undead flesh like holy water.

Sparkles are for rainbow ponies, unicorns, and happy little fairies, all of which are in a COMPLETELY different class of evil.

Shall I continue to rant about Twilight? Nah. There are better rants out there about the plot holes/sexism/Mary Sue-ism/etc that you can read yourself. If you like Twilight, that's fine--a lot of people do. Personally, when it comes to vampires, I prefer Hellsing.
